Merlin

I thought I would post some reasons why you should watch Merlin here today. Mostly these reasons come in the form of the lead actors, who I think I love.

We've got Bradley James. I mean, look at that.

Colin Morgan. Awesome.

 (When having a staring contest, but still. They also didn't understand staring contests and seemed to believe the way you lost was by someone laughing)

Also, there's Katie McGrath!

Very pretty, and seems to support the idea of Merthur (Merlin/Arthur romantic relationship) when asked about it. Seems cool. (In one episode commentary when Merlin and Arthur were having a serious talk, apparently she filled in the dialogue with "I love you." ;D And then she and Angel [see below] laughed about it).

Angel Coulby AKA Guinevere. I haven't paid as much attention to her, but she also seems cool. I don't mind the character but her relationship with Arthur is possibly my least favorite part in all of Merlin. Don't let it deter you though! Eventually she starts wearing these dresses where you stare at her and all you can't think of is "Boobs!" btw [see above].
I leave you with Bradley James super subtly staring at Colin Morgan and then looking away and pretending it didn't happen while Angel Coulby answers a question and Katie McGrath plays with her hair. Bradley frequently gets distracted by Colin when they have big interviews, it seems. Whether it's true love or a man crush...It's definitely one of the two. ;)

A week in review

So, this week is finally ending and I'm absolutely exhausted. I hope you can get some enjoyment out of my life and every bad or maybe "airheaded" moment I've experienced this week.

Let's start with Monday, I guess. What happened on Monday? I have no frakking clue. I legitimately cannot remember at all.
On Tuesday I started English 250. I was crazy nervous and did not have my net id set up. I should have. We needed to login during class and I didn't know how. It was embarrassing. Also I learned I had the wrong books which was awesome... :/ I came home and perhaps passed out, because I once again can't recall the rest of the night.
So then came Wednesday, which I think may have blacked out for too, though I remember it seemed like it took forever to get there. It might have been the night I spent time sleeping and then worked on math for a long time...I did that Tuesday too, didn't I? Yep. I also worked hard to finish a post for English 250.
Thursday I went to school with my socks and they were gone for PE time. I almost passed out during PE, bee tee double you. I was dynamic stretching and then the world looked really bright, meaning my pupils might have gotten confused or something. I think perhaps I was dehydrated. I then left to go home to take my pre-English 250 nap, and apparently drove off with my lunchbox on my car. Kristen saw it...She also called me during English 250. Embarrassing...I spent the night relaxing and trying not to fall asleep, then worked on math.
I got my lunch box back Friday, where I was beyond tired and just dead. I was leaving to drive home and saw socks in the parking lot. Remember the socks I brought for PE? These were them. Weird, right? So I picked them up and headed home! Then I went and got my license and learned if you're a minor you have to bring a parents with you...So that was awesome. I went to the grocery store until she showed up. Then I got my new license piece of paper and looked like I was high in the picture. Later I had to go to the football game and conduct, which wasn't too bad. Except I was reminded that I'm totally lonely. :(

So. A very long week, with some interesting parts if you wade through the boring. Very tiring.

Today I woke up wayyyy too early. It's currently 10:30. I'm pretty sure I had something else to say, but now I can't remember. Instead I will post some pictures.

The first real post of a girl called Taylor

Hi there. So we've got this thing started now, and I want to talk about my current, uh...Obsession? It's a little something called Billy Elliot. I first heard of Billy Elliot a while back, but I didn't fall in love with it until I saw the musical in NYC. Of course, it was a movie before that, so I asked for the movie for my birthday.

This is Billy. Billy likes to dannnnnce. :)

This is Michael.

Michael is very pretty.

Michael sometimes wears dresses.

Billy and Michael are besties. (Also Michael miggght have a thing for Billy, and yes, the tutu is from Billy <3)

This is Billy's brother Tony. They have some sweet moments.

This is Billy and Debbie. Debbie is all right, but Michael and Billy belong together and she a little bit ruins it. (Also the whole "straight" vibe you get from Billy)

This is Billy's dad with Billy.

I hope this has encouraged you to watch the movie. But who knows.

This is from the musical, which I also lovvvved. :D Billy and Michael are both a little less..Mature seeming in the musical, but it works. Michael is the one in navy blue with a red hat to the left and Billy is in the middle, obviously. I can't really name the rest so easily. Debbie is funnier in the musical. She seems more like a creeper to Billy than a friend.

I think these two above played them in the show I saw. (Top is Billy, bottom is Michael? Perhaps.)

It's not as good as the people I saw live, but you get the idea. I can't decide whether I like the generally quiet and soft-spoken Michael from the movie or the rather camp energetic Michael from the musical better. I almost think I like the subtle movie version better. But I love them both. Another character difference, I think, is Tony. Tony ends up being sweeter to Billy in the movie, even though Billy can't hear him (it's actually kind of sad) and I don't remember that so much in the musical. Could have happened without me noticing though.

Of course the movie doesn't have any singing, and focuses a lot more on Billy than I make it sound. The musical too. Now playing in Chicago! You could go see it. I want to see it again, but I'm afraid no one will be as awesome as the first people I saw in it. Just tell me if you want to watch it sometime. I want you to. :D
